Software module for documenting and managing the information of electrical schematics

CADMill Electric is a powerful tool for creation and revision of circuit and connection diagrams. The dynamic link to the CADMill Electric Database provides excellent functionality for transferring information in both directions. In this way the CADMill Electric database permits efficient reuse and electrical diagrams can be generated automatically. The CADMill Electric Database (included to the CADMill Electric) component and object managers provide the user with functions to retrieve and select components based on motor specification and switch board connection - during the design of maintennace phases. CADMill Electric supports several standards, including the widely used international IEC standard and the local standards for electrical installation work. CADMill Electric´s graphical CAD-part is based on AutoCAD and the database is based on Microsoft Access. The system can also be configured to run with other database solutions.
