Software module for documenting and managing instrumentation diagrams

CADMill Instruments is a powerful tool for simple creation and revision of instrumentation diagrams. The dynamic link to the CADMill Instruments Database (included to the CADMill Instruments)provides excellent functionality to transfer information. In this way the CADMill Instruments database permits efficient reuse and instrumentation diagrams can be generated automatically.

The CADMill Instruments Database includes constantly updated information of processors and IO cards and several lists can be generated directly from the database. User is also able to define his own standard loops. The software keeps track of current styles being used for field labels, connections, patch panels, terminal blocks and main cables. CADMill Instruments´s graphical CAD-part is based on AutoCAD and the database is based on Microsoft Access. The system can also be configured to run with other database solutions.
